Hamburger SV has signed midfielder Lukasz Poreba on a permanent deal. The 26-year-old Pole was on loan last season and has signed a contract until 2029. Poreba played for Elversberg in all 34 second-division games. In 32 games, he started and played the full 90 minutes in 27 games. He scored one goal and set up three others. "Lukasz has shown how valuable he is to the team", says Elversberg's sports director Christian Weber in a club statement. "With his qualities in the game against the ball, his game intelligence and his outstanding mentality, he had a big part in our success." Poreba is looking forward to the future challenge. "With the promotion to the Bundesliga, we have achieved something historic", he says, "it feels right to continue on the same path."
