HSV is in talks with German U-21 international Elias Baum. The 20-year-old could find a new club in the Bundesliga. According to the ‚Hamburger Abendblatt‘, HSV is interested in the 20-year-old. Baum currently plays for Eintracht Frankfurt until 2028, but could leave the club due to a lack of playing time this summer. Baum returned to SGE last summer with seven assists in 37 official games for his loan club, SV Elversberg, but was completely left out. After only five short appearances in the past season, HSV is now hoping to sign Baum. In the Hanseatic city, the right-back William Mikelbrencis could be replaced, who is likely to leave the red shirts this summer after the end of his contract. HSV hopes that Baum will receive more playing time in the new season and develop into an important player for the team.
