HSV and 1. FC Köln are considering the transfer of Laurin Curda, who was praised for his contribution to SC Paderborn's promotion to the Bundesliga. The 24-year-old player delivered eight goals and eight assists in the 2025/26 season. He also scored the winning goal in the play-off match against VfL Wolfsburg, which secured the promotion to the Bundesliga. Curda joined Paderborn in 2023 as a free agent from TSG Balingen. Internationally, he was active for the German U-17 national team. Previously, he was in the youth academies of VfB Stuttgart and TSG Hoffenheim.
