Hamburger SV has the complete fixture list for the 2026/27 Bundesliga season. This is according to a publication by Vavel, which lists all 32 matches for the historic club.
HSV will start the season on Sunday, September 13 at 09:30 AM with an away match at RB Leipzig. Coach Tim Walter's team is currently in 18th place, has zero points from two games, and a goal difference of -7. Three players are sidelined with injuries: Alexander Røssing-Lelesiit, Warmed Omari, and Albert Sambi Lokonga are currently unavailable.
When does HSV play the top clubs?
The matches against Germany's top clubs are spread throughout the year. As early as November 27, HSV will host record champions FC Bayern München at the Volksparkstadion. The return leg in Munich is scheduled for April 2. The home game against Borussia Dortmund is on January 22, with the away fixture following on January 29 in Mainz, a peculiarity in the calendar.

What does the schedule look like after the winter break?
After the winter break, HSV will resume play on January 8 with a home game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. This is followed by away matches at SC Freiburg (January 12) and another home game against FC Augsburg (January 15). February begins with the return leg against RB Leipzig on February 5 in Hamburg.

Fans at the Volksparkstadion can look forward to numerous home games. After starting with Cologne, matches against VfB Stuttgart (October 16), Borussia Mönchengladbach (November 6), and Bayern Munich (November 27) will follow. In the second half of the season, home games against 1. FC Union Berlin (April 9) and against Schalke 04 (December 11) are among those scheduled.
